Hi there, Pokémon TCG players,
(Japanese follows English/日本語は英語の後です)
My screen name is Sokolagi who plays PTCG in both real and digital life and writes articles analyzing the best deck in the latest format at Japan. I’m happy about the fact my articles have more than 15,000 PV per day at most!!

As you may know, the Pokémon Company releases the latest PTCG pack(s) at Japan ahead of other regions. To my pleasure, my oversea friend asked me to explain PTCG latest environment at Japan. Then, this is the deck-use-rate of Japan Nationals 2016 on June 19th as my first English post.
------------------
The deck-use-rate of the Japan National Championships 2016
"カメックスメガバトル日本一決定戦 2016/the KAMEX-MEGA battle, Japan Nationals" on June 19th 2016.
"B league" similar to WW master division
"XY format" similar to WCS 2016 format including english STEAM SIEGE pack unreleased in other countries as of today.
{N=35}
1} Night march; 11(31%)
2} Greninja valiant; 6(17%)
3} Trevenant Break; 5(14%)
4} Medicham/Carbink Break; 3(9%)
5} Zygarde-EX/Vileplume; 2 Darkrai-EX/Giratina-EX; 2(6%)
Only a player used} (3%/for each)
- Steel good staff(Genesect-EX/Magearna-EX/Cobalion etc.)
- P Groudon-EX
- Sky M Ray-EX
- Vespiquen/Vileplume/Garbodor
- Vespiquen/Zoroark
- M Sceptile-EX/Seismitoad-EX Winner!!
The Pokémon company rolled out XY11 packs (similar to STEAM SIEGE) on June 17th and took place the Japan Nats 2 days later. Only a person used new Pokémon card like Magearna-EX/Cobalion aggressively, but almost every player used existing card within XY10 (similar to Fates Collide). I wanted to see Fire type deck like Vol-EX , but I couldn’t since they didn’t have much time, I think.
M Sceptile-EX won and a Greninja valiant takes 2nd place at the tournament of Japan Nats. Surprisingly, Greninja deck didn’t use Greninja BREAK!! See the following URL in detail. You can get 8 top cut deck lists of Japan Nats. The site is only in Japanese, but you can probably make sense it easily with card pictures and # of copy.
